Hybrid Chatbot for Strategic Story Coaching
Research
Storytelling remains vital for self-advocacy, but modern contexts call for new approaches. Sage is a hybrid chatbot that blends rule-based systems with large language models to support strategic storytelling. In interviews with 21 experts, we find this design effective for high-stakes communication, highlighting key challenges like balancing authenticity with impact. Our findings offer guidance for designing conversational AI that empowers marginalized voices while maintaining narrative structure and effectiveness.
