Bridgit Mendler
PhD candidate
Bridgit is a songwriter, actress, and second-year PhD student at the MIT Media Lab. As a teenager, Mendler was an actress in Disney’s Good Luck Charlie and toured her music internationally while pursuing an Anthropology degree from the University of Southern California. Mendler has a passion for the ethical business of entertainment and the social mapping of the digital space where she has a significant following.
Her current interest is in mapping the public sphere ecosystem. She is working on the LVN team, as well as the health metrics team to design systems that facilitate positive conversation and translate the corpus of conversations into thought-provoking visualizations and interactions.
Another current and perennial interest is in drinking way too much coffee. Let’s grab a cup sometime!
