Heather Pierce is the Head of Operations and Administration for the MIT Center for Constructive Communication (CCC) at the Media Lab, where she manages operational strategy and organizational management across research, programs, and events. Her work spans operations and compliance, workforce planning and onboarding, vendor and contractor management, program administration, and the coordination of major CCC initiatives and events.
Heather plays a central role in supporting CCC’s internal culture and oversees planning for conferences, workshops, member engagements, and CCC’s annual offsite and public-facing events.
She has worked at the MIT Media Lab for more than 15 years and holds a BS in Marketing Communications from Emerson College.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys reading, cooking for friends and family, discovering new wines, and spending time with her husband, four children, and dog.
