Human-Centered Design Lead, Campaign Manager, and Organizer
Valinda is a Human-Centered Design Lead, committed to lifting up the voices of the most marginalized and co-creating solutions to complex challenges with the people most affected. Valinda works tirelessly to promote equity and create lasting change at the intersection of environmental, racial, social, and housing justice in her roles at Mothers Out Front and Mutual Aid Eastie. Her priorities include mitigating the impacts of air pollution that disproportionately affect communities of color and immigrant communities living in heavily industrialized areas. Leveraging her design background to increase our capacity for change and to help organizations be more impactful, Valinda also focuses on scaling sustained networks between neighbors and addressing unmet needs of the community through solidarity-based support.
